LOCAL AUTHORITY NOTICE

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION ON THE 2019/2020 LEETO LA POLOKWANE DRAFT FARE POLICY AND OPERATIONS BY-LAW.

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 21 of the Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000 and Sections 22 and 23 of the Municipal Finance Management Act 56 of 2003.

Polokwane Municipality invites members of the public and stakeholders to participate in the 2019/20 Draft Fare Policy and Operations By-Law.

Community members are invited to make comments and submissions into these 2019/20 draft documents. Comments can be made in writing to the Municipal Manager. The Draft Fare Policy and Operations By-Law are available for inspection at the following Libraries and City contact centres:

Moletji Library, Moletji Tribal Office, Seshego Library, Seshego Cluster Offices (Zone 1,3 and 8), City Library, Nirvana Library, Westernburg Library, IDP Office’s,  304,305  3rd Floor (Civic Centre), Mankweng Library, Mankweng Cluster offices (Unit A, B, C), Segopye Moshate, Mamabolo Moshate, Mothapo Tribal Office, Maja Tribal Office, Chuene Tribal Office, Molepo Tribal Office, Maja Cluster Office (Mothiba Ngwana-Mago), Tshebela Library, Sebayeng Cluster Office, Makotopong, Mothiba Moshate, Dikgale Moshate, Aganang Main Cluster Office, Mashashane Ward Office & Moshate, Ga – Matlala One Stop Centre Library, Maraba Moshate and Matlala Moshate.

The Fare Policy and By-Law comment period will close on 18 October 2019.

Any person who cannot read or write may come to the Leeto la Polokwane Offices at the Peter Mokaba Stadium during office hours to be assisted to record his/her comments or inputs.
